Ministries

There are many ways to get involved at First Baptist Church. We look forward to seeing you.

Adult Ministry

It is our desire and goal to minister to adults at all stages of their lives.

Disciples

Through disciples, help is given so that people can receive a firm foundation on what they believe and why they believe it. As this is done, a friendship develops through shared trials, triumphs, and prayer.

Outreach

Telling others about eternal life is of the utmost importance to our church. We have an excellent evangelistic outreach that helps you to share your faith with others. “His last command is our greatest concern.”

Adult Sunday School

In adult studies, the Bible becomes a road map. Studying together helps us find God’s direction for our lives. Sunday School happens after the morning service, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM.

Children’s Ministry

Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord. – Psalm 127:3

We believe children are precious to the Lord. Therefore, we endeavor to provide loving, quality care and well-planned Bible learning activities to equip your children for their Christian walk. The nursery is open for Sunday School, Worship Services, and scheduled events.

Our children’s ministry includes:

Nursery (0 – 2 years)

The nursery is more than just a place to leave your baby while you attend the morning service, it is a fun and loving environment in which your child can learn about God’s love. The women who staff the nursery are trained, and most of them are mothers.

Toddlers (2 – 3 years)

This program teaches our toddlers during the morning worship service. It offers music, art, and Bible teachings on church, worship, and everyday life principles.

Sunday School

Primaries (4 – 6 years)
Juniors (6 – 10 years)
Teens (13 – 18 years)

The learning doesn’t stop when the sermon ends. Right after the morning service on Sunday comes Sunday School. One of our many goals is to teach all age groups about God’s love for them, as well as give them knowledge of the Bible and its Author, in an enjoyable and age-appropriate way.

Children’s Church

Children need friendships too. In our children’s church, they can interact with each other, participate in crafts, learn and sing new songs, and hear exciting Bible stories.
